COOKIN’ WITH OIL! Mexi-Beef Casserole – VIDEO

Mexi-Beef Casserole 

2 lbs grass fed beef

2 tbl taco seasoning

1/2 t salt

2 tbl salsa

1 drop oregano vitality essential

2 drops black pepper vitality essential oil

8 oz shredded cheese

24 oz cottage cheese

2 cups salsa

9×13 pan

Preheat oven to 350 f

Brown your defrosted beef, while it’s cooking add 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning and salt

In a seperate bowl add 2 tablespoons of salsa

Add the drops of essential oils to the salsa and stir

Pour over the cooking beef and mix

In a mixing bowl add shredded cheese, cottage cheese and salsa. Mix well

Pour fully cooked beef into 9×13 baking pan. Spread evenly

Pour cheese mixture over the beef. Spread evenly

Bake in oven for about 20 minutes or until it starts to brown on the edges and gets bubbly

Recipe notes

I had a package of beef that was not quite 2 lbs so I added enough ground turkey to make it about 2 lbs.

I use Mateo’s salsa, but any salsa you love will work for this.

I get my essential oils for cooking from Young Living (this link takes you to the start page- you have to register an account to shop from them). This company has specially labeled their oils that are safe for ingestion with a white label with the word Vitality. They have quite a few flavors. They are more intense than any other form of the spice or herb, even more intense than fresh.

I like aged white cheddar for this recipe, but any cheese that shreds should work for this recipe.
